Planning & Design
Let our experienced personnel, all who are active members in the American Sports Builders Association and National Sports Turf Managers Association, assist in the planning and design of your new athletic field, sports track or tennis court. In fact, our staff is comprised of Certified Field Builders and Certified Track Builders. Our staff has over 100 years of combined experience in sports turf and field management and have constructed or renovated over 600 athletic fields and running tracks. We have completed projects for middle and high schools, colleges, universities, professional teams as well as for parks and recreation departments.
Construction
Licensed in five states in the Southeast, we can work as your general contractor overseeing each phase of your sports project, or we can work as a sub-contractor, dedicated solely to the construction of your field, track or tennis court.
Renovation & Repair
Using the latest technology and equipment, Sports Turf Company can perform renovations and repair work on your sports field to correct any drainage problems and correct any slope problems your site currently experiences. Sports Track Company can bring your track or tennis court back to life extending the life and usability of each.
Laser Grading & GPS Technology
Recognized in the industry as a leader in adopting laser technology to sports field design and construction, Sports Turf’s innovative approach to laser grading helps us design and grade fields without uneven surfaces common to sports fields of the past, allowing for smooth surfaces with proper, efficient drainage. By investing in and incorporating the latest GPS technology into the site development process, we are able to coordinate and integrate the mass grading with the final site preparation in the most effective and efficient manner.
Irrigation
Our services also include an analysis of your site’s irrigation needs and requirements, for which we can design a plan specifically tailored to your needs that will provide the optimal watering for your field. Our irrigation installations are conducted according to the highest quality specifications, and we can provide warranted services as needed.
Grassing
Our sister company, NG Turf, owns and operates over 2,000 acres of certified turfgrasses throughout the state of Georgia with inspection by the University of Georgia Improvement Association. This certifies our sod and sprigs as Georgia Certified “Blue Tag” Turfgrasses insuring the grass is of true variety and free of weeds. This expertise in turfgrasses makes sure the proper grass is used for your athletic field or golf course.
Synthetic Surfaces
Sports Turf is not a manufacturer of synthetic surfaces, but as a Sports Field Construction Company we can assist you in determining the proper surface that meets the need of your project. Additionally, we have worked with many of the leading synthetic turf manufacturers.
Grow In
As a component of our services in both new field construction and existing field renovation, we work actively to promote the proper grow-in of our projects with great attention to weed control, fertilizing, watering and mowing.
